Hello, yes I too want to know at least some sentences. This couple is the cutest imo. They deserve their story. Their love looks REAL and genuine.the artist made us even care about the characters, I too love Vera. I see Ashley as a beautiful being than a p*rn st@r. @Ratbat:You know the atoll universe does actually reminds me alot of ghost in the shell with a bit of mixture of dead space were if humanity didnt find a an artifact that turned the dead into monster. But the idea were humans evolving into more machine themselves and creating a new species the demi machine is like evalution slowly progressing and less human being born is both amazing and a bit sad. Of course people choosing to be with a dire is really like how you metion that they are only looking for someone to love and be with together they are no different from us if we want to settle down to start a familly. I can guess in the future of atoll universe were human will soon have a bit a hard time look for thier own kind to have a family or want one will most likey be with a dire or demi machine to the point were the machine race will rightfully own the planet. at this point i actually wonder if lemarchand sorta predicted this or possibly not know about it.still Even though it kinda sad about how humanity slowly disappearing at Least they choose to live thier life to be with a machine that loves you. @Ratbat so i been looking through other stuff you posted up here and the information were you said that this mental synching can be form of telepathy is actually new info that i didn’t know about. Is this the same ability that rocket and no name have when he said that they were linked up together or is it completely different from Corrupted humans and that she is a half machine that can link up with no name. And there were is another commet were you posted with another information that i didn’t knew about either is that corrupted human are more mentally silmialr to the machines themselves that they think more rationally and are more calm and collective than normal human beings. Those two things are someting new that didn’t knew about and hopeing you can tell me more about it or an example about it. @Sora: So, some of this information is meta and exists to enhance somewhat the relationship that humans and machines have when they have bonded with each other.
I think it generally makes these relationships far more favorable against regular human x human relationships, and offsets the balance. Basically the less mentioned in the story the better (and less marry-sue ish this story can be).
The basic idea is that when humans get corrupted, their physiology changes. Most of the essential DNA in or near the abdomen is preserved but a lot of central nervous system changes occur. Nanomachine emulation doesn’t change a persons overall personality, but it may slightly steer a person towards more rational logical thinking- the way that machines tend to process information emotionally. Someone who used to be very brash and prone to anger may see a more pronounced change in mannerism. You shouldn’t be able to notice much of a difference though. When humans are permanently mated to a machine folk, they gain the ability to receive and project thoughts over short distances. (Part of the brain has become synth at this point) like ghost in the Shell where cyborgs had a link up and could talk to each other wirelessly into each others minds over a network. There’s are ideas I really liked. All machine folk have this ability, but corrupted humans have to be connected with somone usually to gain this power.

What about two corrupted humans? Technically still regular porn but what if their machine mates were siblings and the machines somehow died, like in combat? (Your story cannon) I’m curious as to how you’d think they’d go on saying that they need each other at that point. In my cannon they do not need a mate to be most like your corrupted humans, they could be the offspring of a very dominant parent that wanted a most human child rather than split into a morph. (Severstal and Anatoly will do this)
Im a little confused as to what you are asking so ill just say, that the Bond is a physically internally altering event which binds you to your machine forever (and its weird alien science space magic bullshit within the story). The Bond covers 1) mental synching ( a form of telepathy between you and your mate), 2) the ability for your mate to set up nano machine partitions inside your body for use as reserves in saving your life or his/her own in case either of you suffers a mortal blow. 3) you can only have children with your bond mate. Outside of this you can have sex and fall in love with whom ever you want weather the machine lover is alive or dead, You just don’t get the perks of the bond anymore.
There is also two very negative aspects in that, Corrupted humans cannot create their own native nanomachines to heal themselves. They must find some sort of Dire machine or morph to fuck to get replenished. You can’t re-initiate the bond with someone new either, so kids are out.
Keeping all of this in mind, yes 2 corrupted humans can fall in love with eachother after they loose their mates, they just loose their regeneration (unless they can find a vehicle fuck buddy willing to donate some fluids) and ability to have kids permanently.
