Ha Vasilly is colored in now! Not sure if that’s his running light or a reflection on the forward landing gear but it’s a very cool effect and nice touch. I think it’s kind of funny a killer like a Terminator is casually fanning himself as he is adorned in medals with a crown on the runway… Or hanger wherever he is at the moment.
Nice coloration I wasn’t expecting him to be a high ranker I though he was a new kid on the block. Guess the Su-37 has been around a while now yeesh.

Actually the old Warthog is one of my favorite American Jets, right up there with the Blackbird lol. Love that things story, they had a gun and somebody said put an airplane around it!
Congress is nuts if they think a stealth F-35 can do the job of the A-10! It doesn’t have anywhere close to the endurance, wno’t have a tenth the durability, and it won’t have the 30mm death-cannon!
I am hoping the A-10 remains a survivor story, beating the odds as everybody seems to want to retire them… EXCEPT the people who’s lives rely on it.
The A-10 will always be a iconic aircraft that a lot of people love with their signature brrrrrrt noise. But Russian military vehicles do have lot unique design with their aircraft and tanks that do well in the battlefield.
Still A-10 Warthogs are pretty tough
Most ground attackers have armor around the pilot not just the A-10. Also all modern aircraft have redundant systems even civilian aircraft.

Yes so many Russian aircraft indeed, got to say I am a fan of Soviet designs! They build em TOUGH as hell where American Jets are high precision high tolerance designs that are a lot more fragile. Russian Jets can land in a mud field and chew up rocks all day long in the turbines, try that with a beautiful F-16!
