Yea, I can get that. I vaguely remembered all sorts of lore tidbits and explanations back when you had your FA, but I either I haven’t found what I remember (was there at least something about their skin or the process of how machines go from normal to living?) or maybe misremembered what was in comments and what made submissions.
Either way, as one of that third, I really appreciate any glimpses into the who’s, how’s, and why’s of your fiction. The initial “shit hits the fan” shift of the world especially. No other living machine artist that I know puts this much thought into all of this, and it makes me way more invested than porn.

I’m not 100% on whether or not your audience would already know what that thing plummeting to earth is or not. Has this event been written about before out of curiousity?
@kirbu: The ending of this story was planned out a year ago. But I am God awful at actually writing, so I just don’t.
I ended up doing a poll not too long ago. Only 1/3rd of my visitors actually care to read the comic. The rest are here for the porn.
