Before I sign off, I just want to get something off my chest. Its what I like to call “The gay version” problem. Ive been drawing machine porn for a while now (I started in 1999) and I should be flattered when anyone comes to pay my stuff any kind of attention. However, there has increasingly been the occurrence of people who on one hand, compliment the art. “This is great..” in the same breath “..when are you going to do the gay version?”

First off, I am not homophobic, nor have an anti gay agenda no, 90% of my real life friends are infact varying shades of homosexual including one of my best Friends. I am however tired of people coming onto my offsite galleries asking for the homosexual version of my art that I am clearly not into drawing. I never go to other peoples gay gallerys and say “This is nice, BUT WHERE IS THE VERSION WITH THE PUSSY?” I think that’s kind of insulting tbh..
I have a hair up my ass because most of the mechaphile art that exists today is “the gay version of said fan art couples”. Imagine a world growing up where you only have one or 2 really good pictures to fap to because the rest of the artists were infatuated with Yaoi robots and cars. I had to practice my ASS off just to put any kind of quality straight machine porn into this world.
Every fucking day, is the “the gay version.” whether it be Rockman, Transformers, Apple Seed, or cars/planes fanart.
I’m not going to waste my time on this shit unless people pay me a lot of money. And even then that’s iffy.
I haven’t forgotten about My fellow Mecha fans! Today I give to you a metric fuck-ton of Japanese machine! Most of whitch come from my favorite squaresoft game of all time- xenogears. HIKARI NI NARRAAAREEE!!
Btw, I am absolutely in love with this war thunder trailer and the song that was used in it. (Cracked open ground forces for the first time in 5 months tonight. loved it.) The Youtube author posted the name of the singer and the lyrics, but I’m having difficulty finding it. Its not on itunes, if someone knows where to find an un adulterated mp3/mp4 version of it please let me know.

Incidentally, I have a bit of a confession to make. While my attraction to Giant Japanese anime robots will never leave me (they are apart of the pyramid of sentient machines), I do feel that my gallery posts are quickly transitioning toward the real world vehicle side of things as my interest in military stuff increases by the day. This probably has a lot to do with the fact that I don’t watch anime anymore. I feel like the really good giant robot shows, Macross plus, Gundam 08th ms team, Gaogaigar Final, Evangelion, Mazinkaizer, Gunbuster, Shin getter robo Armageddon and their ilk had their hay-day and I am not likely going to find very much draw for the new shit in the future. Ive been recommended a show called “Aldnoa Zero” which I will give a try. But from here on out, you may find these post have less and less giant robot and more and more real world stuff.

I don’t have much to say atm that cant or should not be added to a main blog post. although I will say that I did recently see the tank movie “Fury” with brad Pitt and I thought it was fucking great. Its got an 80% on rotten tomatoes (and if you know anything about rotten tomatoes critics, the critics usually hate anything that isn’t a Disney animation or an art house film.. but they loved the tank movie). Now I am not a tank historian, Nor do i play World of tanks (I am a WT: GF kinda gal) I would say that my star citizen buddies arm-chair critique that the movie is historical inaccurate is in fact mostly bullshit and that this film is about as accurate as can be on how fucking shitty it really was to be a tank commander in WWII. if your in the mood for something gritty along the lines of ‘Saving private Ryan” Then you are in the mood for “Fury” especially if you like Tanks.
