Naw Ratbat, I totally know what you mean about fandoms. THe TF fandom especially, because it’s so fractured with all the different continuities, and people can get really up in arms about the silliest things (like whether or not transformers have dicks… Really guys, it’s porn, come on) You just keep doing what you like to do and forget the haters.

Man, I didnt mean to imply I was quitting drawing robot porny stuff. I’ll Probibly never quit but some background might help the readers understand my latest tirade. With the exception of the Skyfire pics, all of the Robo sex stuff was done for people other then myself. I Got into this mode of doing art in exchange for advertisment of my other sites to hide that im kind of intimidated to do commisions atm. It worked out fairly well because I have YOU ppl comeing to this page everyday for robots and I love like-minded people.
Been alot of useless adolescent drama from the chat I used to frequent. I shouldnt really be suprised, all fandoms eventually will have drama. But Im not by nature a TF fan, I dont watch the shows and ive never baught any of the toys. I’m however a “mecha lover” so my love extends to machines and human relationships with them, alien or otherwise. If other people are as desperate for this kind of art as I am, Youd think theyd be alittle more receptive.
I showed my latest In progress work to a TF fan on msn and she scoffed because It wasnt anyone from TFA (I cant stand TFA) or atleast anyone “popular” from G1. Granted, Astoria and Powerglyde are way more popular in japan then the states but I did it for a japanese freind like I did all of the futz couples. This ‘brush-off’ attitude reminds me of why I hate fandoms, ergo the stakes change if your not pandering to the masses.
Its my fault im ticked off however (ive been known to act this way about food, movies, ect). Perhapse im just more egotisticle then i thought, or maybe I let myself belive that this big robofag koombaya with my female fans extended to everyboudy.

I really love your porn. I admit I was never a TF fan, but I am a Ratbat fan. You’ve given me something new to look forward to, something I’ve never seen done to my satisfaction anywhere else. Besides, the fact that it comes from a female perspective makes it that much easier to relate to; there’s always an element of romance to your stuff that is really rare and incredibly sexy. Fft, now that I know where you’re posting, I’m here regularly to see if anything new has been posted at ALL. I love you art, yo, whether it’s TFs or not. Granted, the TFs will always get my attention a little faster because they’re like my life long love, but I still dig so hard on checking out other robot and mecha art. I still enjoy Gundam art, stuff outta Patlabor, and I recently got into Code Geass. Mega Man and MMX stuff is old school fandom for me, too. Even if I don’t recognize the mech, I can still appreciate the talent you have for drawing them. Do what you like. I’ll still be watchin’.
I like pretty much everything you draw as I try to look at it from an artistic point of view. Lots of people can draw girls, lots of people can draw mecha. You can draw the two together and I love your composition and shading.
Also, I’m curious to what sort of mecha anime you watch, I’m pretty new to the whole genre and I’m having trouble finding anything to watch.
