This pic is based on “EDI” the Extreme deep invader drone from the 2005 movie Stealth. I didn’t actually like the movie very much for various reasons. But I was commissioned to draw EDI porn (Edi is an A.I. drone). the other stuff below were sketches I did during the last Halloween party into various peoples books. I was drunk doing both so they are blurry.
Nah, those are a lot of the faults I had with it too. Good action scenes, really neat aircraft designs. But the really corny romance angle was just unneeded and poorly done. I didn’t mind the ‘bad guy’ being the dude in charge of the EDI program so much, but EDI going all edgy and downloading music and stuff was, yeah. Pretty unnecessary.
So, no, you’re not being too hard on it. ^-^

I had a lot of faults with the movie as well, although I did rather enjoy the dogfight with the two Flankers. And some of the practical effects were pretty neat.
Can’t wait to see more!
By all means I should have loved this movie because I am a total A.I. Slut and Love any machine charecter who is seemingly “alive”. Like you said, I won’t fault the action scenes in the movie because they were actually pretty good for the CG we had in 2005. I guess I am just mad at the plot. For one thing, EDI becomeing a killer drone just because he was struck by lightning was weak! then the movie became a love story and a fight against the main navy guy. Could have done without the island dateing scenes and just got to the action better. (Maybe I’m being too hard on it) hmm
