Ik I’m super late here (still digging around trying to catch up with the history of everything) but this got a massive chuckle out of me, lol.
I coincidentally recently did some hornyposting about A320’s on r/hearmeoutbro, and the amount of times I got deferred to aeromorphs disappointed me…
Like… Sirs, I am out here posting pictures of a literal airplane. If you’re showing me something that has tits, stands up straight, and looks like it shares more DNA with a shark furry than a machine, we’re probably not quite on the same page here.
@Brisky: I’ll admit I was at the height of my anger towards the Aeromorph folks when I made this years ago. It seems that Aeromorph is trapped permanently as a porn category on a light search, but I feel like the concept of it could have been explored in different ways. anyway.. It was better to to just ingrain the idea that we are all taking separate paths to our individual ultimate goals. try and chill out. Also its fascinating to know that randos are filtering you to the Areomorph sub. That means the use of the term has increased in popularity. More people are starting to know about these fringe paraphiliias, even if the shape it takes is not exactly what we want. the A320? The airline one?

I agree, but that the same time i disagree, in part because if it wasn’t for art similar to this, -Walter sache in particular- i probably would not have gotten into living machines as i am sure many people who are finding there way into the living machine community will need something to use as an introductory medium, which that kind of art fills pretty well. And then of course when they are hooked, they start looking for more living machine art, stumble across your art and art similar to it and then technically speaking every one wins! though of course there will always be people who start off with your art and others who start maybe somewhere in the middle.
well thats my two cents, not trying to make one better then the other just mumbling my input.
