So i’ve been wondering, during the comic, i see that WW2 aircraft were alive, and i was wondering if WW1 era vehicules (for exemple the Fokker DR1, the SPAD 13, or the GOTHA bomber) were also alive.
And yes i’m a bit of à History nerd.

Dires.
What happens when a dire runs out of fuel? From the Atoll comic there was mention of starvation when ‘hilda was low on fuel, but what actually happens?
Next question, so long as a dire has sufficient computerisation and mass. Does the material its made of matter? I was planning on a diremachine that was essentially a nuclear fusion powered airship, and i mean an AirSHIP, a flying cruiseliner in a sense.
Can dires run off alternate fuels. For example, coal, lumber, or nuclear fusion? Or does it have to be liquid or gaseous fuels?
Are dires capible of producing chemicals or gases or solids? Considering they are living constructs. The plan for my airship dire was that she had organ(s) that separated hydrogen and helium from ingested water.
The helium is sent to the airships gas evelopes whislt some of the hydrogen goes into the engineroom to be made into deuterium, and the majority of the hydrogen is sent to the various areas of the ship that require it, such as the kitchens and fire places ect.
How good is a dires eyesight and hearing?
Are dires flame resistant or retardant? If fuel catches fire i’d imagine it cant be too good for their anatomy…
And to what extent do the nanomachines spread? Do they take over all a dires machinery and/or equipment? Water purifiers, air, fuel and oil filters, ect. Or do they only infect the machines structure and engines?
when Dires run out of fuel they fall into a Torpor state. (I’ll get to writing the wiki XD) but they do this to preserve what remaining charge in the nanite colony remains. if they all go electrically neutral, the Dire machine is completely dead.
Definitely would love to hear more about this! The Dires are interesting life forms! Maybe have a wiki page exclusively for dires that answer these questions.

Did you include the apostrophe, the space and the exclamation mark? I’ve tested it multiple times and “C’est Vrai!#2668” (without the quotation marks) should work.
